Timeless form. Essential art.

For over sixty years, the work of Ryozo Miki has quietly captivated those who encounter it. Born in Japan, long rooted in Scandinavia, his bowls, figures, and birds are made without compromise — objects that reward the hand as much as the eye.

The Artist

Ryozo Miki was born in Japan and trained under Mitsuo Kano, one of the most respected ceramists of his generation. He has lived and worked in Sweden for over 25 years, where his practice has evolved freely — rooted in Japanese tradition, yet unmistakably his own. His work spans vessels, wall pieces, and figurative objects, all marked by the same quiet intensity and refusal to compromise.
